Description

Callisto is a 60ft traditional Narrow boat built by Ward Marine in 1992, launched in '95. She was designed and fitted by her impeccable first owner to high standards. Powered by a beta marine BD3 tug engine which has never failed me in the last 10 years of ownership. She comes with bow thrusters, an 800l water tank and 350l fuel tank, a huge 5kva generator attached the the engine, 1800w Heart Inverter/charger and a second, high speed newmar battery charging unit. She has gas locker for 2 bottles, 2 starter and 2 leisure batteries plus one dedicated bow thruster battery. Heating is provided by an Eberspacher recently serviced and 3 rads, plus wood burning stove. Hot water provided by the Eber and Calorifier. 2x Panasonic 245W solar panels and MPPT tracer. Callisto comes with a large anchor (44lbs) with 100ft anchor chain in the anchor locker. 12V and 240 V lighting throughout. 3 hob small gas cooker, small marine TV, radio connected to an integrated speaker system.
From the large bow deck with bow locker, you enter through a secure barn door into the saloon. There is a fitted sofa that slides open into a double guest bed, radio and TV, a coat cupboard and lots of storage under the sofa unit. The interior is Beech and Sapele trim. Large double glazed windows have hopper tops. Moving into the galley, you find plenty of cupboard space - all very solidly built, a cooker, extraction fan,a fridge with icebox, a side hatch with a lid and a Houdini hatch providing more light. In the ceiling are speakers connected to the radio. There are also 2 internal phones that connect to the engine room. Further aft is a corridor with more shelving and stowage of the dining table which slots into place in the saloon. Next is the bathroom: Jason pump out loo with extra large macerator. Shower over a ¾ sized bath, vanity unit and sink. Pump out tank is hidden inside the wall. The bedroom is cosy with a small double and lots more storage. Aft is another sitting room with Houdini hatch, a wood burning stove, full sized wardrobe and airing cupboard with hot water cylinder. And finally through a lockable sea door, into the engine room, with battery locker, and space for tools or bike etc. Stern doors lead onto the deck and there are 2 bench seats with under seat lighting
