Speed / Consumption/Fuel Oil Specification
Speed (Approx)
abt 10 knot on abt 11.0 mt MFO
abt 11 knot on abt 12.7 mt MFO
abt 12 knot on abt 14.0 mt MFO
Speed and consumption are based on ISO condition, good weather, smooth sea of BF 2 and maximum Douglas sea state 2 on even keel with clean bottom and maximum sea water temperature not exceeding 290C laden condition on design draft and with shaft generator running without reefers container onboard.
Abt. 1.1 mt MGO per day for Auxiliary in Ports Idle (excl. reefers and cranes)
Abt. 2.1 mt MGO per day for Auxiliary in Ports Operation including reefers and cranes
Abt. 1.1 mt MGO per day for Auxiliary at Sea when shaft generators are not in use
Abt. 1.1 mt MGO per day for burning boiler
Consumption in port and at sea for auxiliary engine when reefers are to be maintained in port and at sea plus about 0.5 mt of MGO per each 10 teu reefers containers subject to Shaft Generator is not in use or producing insufficient power.
Maneuvering
Vessel might consume additional MGO when maneuveringin shallow waters, canals, rivers, bad weather, in case of emergency etc and for heating fuel oil tanks/boiler. For Maneuvering and Berthing vessel is burning MGO as per below specification and running bow thruster, simultaneously 2 diesel generator are operated for entering /leaving ports approaches as required for save navigation.

Charterers shall only supply suitable fuels to enable main propulsion and auxiliaries machinery to operate efficiently and without harmful effects, fuels to be mineral based products, stable and homogeneous and shall not contain waste lubricants (ULO) chemical and others harmful substances. Charterers to provide sufficient quantity of MGO during sea passages for operating auxiliaries /generators in case of emergency. Sludge removal, if any to be charter’s account/time. Vessel will participate in the fuel quality testing programs, where samples will be taken during each bunkering. The new bunker shall not be used until Master has received fuel
analysis result shows that fuel has met the specs.
